What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Detailed check-in instructions are emailed two days before your stay.
Are pets allowed?
No. To keep the unit allergy-friendly for all guests, pets are not permitted.
Is the property smoke-free?
Yes. The unit and all common areas are smoke-free.
Is there a pool?
Yes, the condominium has a heated swimming pool. Pool bracelets (required by the HOA) are provided in the unit.
Can we fish at the property?
Yes. The condominium has a private fishing pier on the Laguna Madre with 24/7 access, including underwater green lights for night fishing. A fish-cleaning station is on the pier.
What does “book direct” mean?
You book on our website and pay us directly through secure card checkout, processed by Stripe. There are no Airbnb or Vrbo service fees on top of the nightly rate, and you communicate directly with the people who manage the property.
Do you offer monthly or extended winter stays?
Yes, we welcome Winter Texans and other long-stay guests. Extended stays are arranged directly rather than through the online booking calendar, so contact us with your dates. Stays over 30 nights may also be exempt from local lodging taxes.
Is the area quiet?
Yes. Laguna Vista is a calm residential bayfront town. Quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM are municipal ordinance, and the building mostly hosts families, couples, and winter visitors. South Padre Island's beaches and restaurants are about 10 minutes away by car.
How far is South Padre Island?
About 10 minutes by car, across the causeway from neighboring Port Isabel. You get easy access to the beach while staying on the quieter bay side.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our published cancellation policy is being finalized. In the meantime, contact us before or after booking and we will work with you directly on any change of plans.
Are stays subject to taxes?
Yes, all stays are subject to local lodging taxes, which are itemized at checkout. Stays over 30 nights may be tax-exempt. Contact us for details.
