Privacy Policy

• Account details. Your name and email address when you create an account to book.
• Booking details. The unit, dates, number of guests, any special requests you type, and any promotional code you use.
• Payment. Your card is entered on and processed by Stripe. We never see or store the card number. We keep Stripe's transaction reference so we can issue refunds.
• Messages. Anything you send through the contact form, and the email replies that follow.
• Technical data. IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security, rate limiting, and anonymous usage statistics.

• To confirm, manage, and support your stay.
• To send booking confirmations, check-in instructions two days before arrival, and cancellation updates. These are service messages, not marketing.
• To process payments and refunds.
• To protect the site against fraud and abuse, and to keep records required by tax law.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to, and we do not use your information for advertising.

We share information only with the services needed to run the site, and only what each one needs:

Some units are owned by other individuals. An owner can see that their unit is booked, the dates, your first name, and the party size. They do not receive your email address, phone number, payment details, or special requests.

We will disclose information if required by law, for example a lawful request from a tax authority or court.

We use a sign-in cookie so you stay logged in, a cookie that remembers your light or dark theme preference, and analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Vercel that count visits without identifying you. Blocking analytics cookies in your browser does not affect booking.

Booking and payment records are kept for seven years to meet Texas and federal tax record requirements. Contact form messages are kept for two years. Account details are kept while your account exists. Anonymous analytics are kept for 14 months.

• See or correct your information: sign in and view My Bookings, or contact us.
• Delete your account. Ask through the contact form. We will remove your account and personal details. Financial records of past stays are retained in anonymized form as the law requires.
• Opt out of analytics with your browser's cookie settings or an ad-blocking extension.

Residents of the EU, UK, and California have additional rights under local law, including access, portability, and the right to object. Use the contact form to exercise them; we respond within 30 days.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Payments are handled by a PCI-compliant processor. Access to guest information is limited to the people who manage the property.

Accounts may be created only by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
